Dropability -- The handy dandy experts at Best Buy, Circuit City and a local computer store all said Toshiba made laptops are hardier than the average computer. They take a beating or dropping and usually keep clicking.

Spillability - This is a tough one with computers. Apparently all computers are equal with spills. The local computer expert said you can possibly save your laptop if you spill on the keyboard. Immediately turn the computer upside down, drain the liquid and then leave the computer in a safe place for a couple days. Hopefully it will dry out and be good as new.

Child Proofability - It's a no brainer. The finger print reader. No one but you can access the keys. That means your two year old won't even have the opportunity to accidentally delete a week's worth of work.
