Monica Samuels
Monica Samuels is a trained environmental and immigration attorney and former national chairwoman of the Young Republicans. She served as head of YP4W, a national grassroots network of young professionals during the 2000 Bush presidential campaign and worked on the campaign staff as a member of the finance, political, and coalitions efforts. After the election, Monica worked in the Transition Office in Washington, D.C., assisting with environmental appointments for the new president. In 2002, President Bush appointed her to the Board of Directors of the Mickey Leland National Urban Air Toxics Research Center, which she serves on today as treasurer. In 1998, Monica was a frequent guest on the Fox News channel. Monica co-wrote Comeback Moms. She has appeared on national radio programs across the country and in Newsweek, the New York Times, Cleveland Plain-Dealer, Dallas Morning News, and Houston Chronicle.
